Szentendre has been the home of many generations of Hungarian artists since early 20th century. The museums and contemporary galleries all represents the rich traditions of the visual art. 


It is a riverside town in Pest county, Hungary, near Budapest. It is known for its museums (most notably the Open-Air Ethnographic Museum), galleries, and artists. Besides the fact that it is easy to access, by HEV rail or by river boats or by car, many tourists from Budapest like to visit there at the same time shop for unique souvenirs or have a hearty meal at the restaurants in its picturesque environment.
