FESTIVAL OF CRAFTS - 2010
Open-air mega event
Folk art and handicrafts exhibitions, delicious hungarian traditional food and an unique atmosphere of the craft fair.
The special guests of this year are the authentic representatives of the Bulgarian folk culture: craftsmen, dancers, musicians. The fact that Bulgarian egg decoration is not only a rich old tradition but it is a still living practice offers an international dimension to one of the main topic of the Festival.
In the Hungarian National Gallery, the works of the professions' most significant masters will be displayed. Visitors will be able to see the award-winning objects from regional and national exhibitions, such as Living Folk Art, National Folk Art Exhibition, Masterpieces of Handicrafts and The Young Craftsman of Folk Art, as well as artworks that have not yet been exhibited but have been considerded as worthy to be displayed by a professional jury.
