We have friends who are Hungarians but they live in Brussels, Belgium. This summer they visited Budapest and played tourist for three days. One of the program in their 'itinerary' was to meet Z&Z :)

Knowing that they both like confectionaries, desserts and sweets, Zannnie decided to arrange a little surprise. We met up at this colourful 'willy-wonka world' :) Seeing the amazement on our friends' faces awed with smiles was fulfilling :D



This is the Sugar! Shop. It's a really colourful shop a few short streets from Oktogon tram station. With candies, fruit tarts, birthday cakes, sundaes, sweets, lolly pops, chewing gums, marcipan cakes, muffins, Somlói Galuska, you name it!!

There is an ice-cream section that has a wonderful selections of ice creams. Zannnie's favourite is the Cranberry Yoghurt Ice-cream, it's really creamy, yoghurty and fresh! And Milk Rice (tejberizs) they're really delicious!


The other detail that ought to be emphasized is the packaging and the little touches that speaks hygiene and cleanliness in handling these wonderful desserts. It makes the entire shopping experience pampering and it is worthwhile!
